DESCRIPTION:On Monday\, February 26\, 2018\, Governor Cuomo announced the 2018 NYS Regional MWBE Opportunities Expo series (click here for official press release). On behalf of Empire State Development's Division of Minority and Women's Business Development\, we officially invite you to join us as an Exhibitor at the Long Island Regional MWBE Opportunities Expo\, on Tuesday\, June 26\, 2018 at Stony Brook University. \n\n\n\nCo-hosted by Empire State Development's Long Island Regional Office\, the Expo brings together various New York State Agencies and Authorities that have a significant presence in the your region\, providing MWBE firms local networking opportunities. As an Exhibitor at the Expo\, you will have the opportunity to engage with MWBEs seeking to increase their access to New York State procurement opportunities\, thereby supporting Governor Cuomo's effort of exceeding the statewide goal of 30% MWBE utilization.  \n\n\n\nIn addition to providing the opportunity to meet the procurement officers of various NYS agencies and authorities\, the event will feature several workshops and panel discussions delivering important information about doing business with New York State.
