The new UAS, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drone) licensing course will prepare commercial drone flyers (operating for profit) to be lawfully certificated as FAA Remote Pilots and to safely fly these machines.
The course is open to a broad base including students and staff, adult learners, business owners who want to use a drone in their businesses, and all others interested in the topic.
It begins on Saturday, April 15th and runs for 6 successive Saturdays from 9am to 12pm at our Aviation Center. Cost is $595. and online registration is now open at link at bottom of this message.
Increasing public awareness of the dangers of illegal drone flight. We want to get the public to report illegal drone use near local airports or in other areas which may endanger the flying public.
