The LIA was established as the voice of the business community and has shepherded progress in Nassau and Suffolk Counties through regional leadership, so our home continues to be an unparalleled place to live and work. Just Announced: LIA’s Centennial Celebration Honorees

The Long Island Association has announced that Robert B. Catell, Kevin S. Law, and Lawrence J. Waldman will receive the Centennial Honor for Distinguished Leadership at its Centennial Celebration. The honor recognizes their lasting contributions to the LIA and their work to strengthen Long Island’s economy and business community.

Catell, a past LIA Chairman and former Chairman and CEO of KeySpan, has been a leader in the region’s energy and business communities for decades. Law served as the LIA’s President and CEO for more than 10 years, helping secure major infrastructure investments for Long Island. Waldman, the LIA’s current Board Chairman, brings more than 40 years of business and civic leadership to the role. Together, their service reflects the leadership that has shaped the LIA over the past century.
