The LIA Energy and Environment Committee welcomes Tom Falcone, the Chief Executive Officer of LIPA. Appointed LIPA’s CEO in March 2016, Mr. Falcone is responsible for overseeing the third largest not-for-profit, publicly owned electric utility in the United States.
Mr. Falcone will provide an update of the energy industry on Long Island and the Integrated Resource Plan for the region, future power generation options and the potential for repowering, the offshore wind farm and other renewable energy sources, as well as the partnership with PSEG-Long Island and the future of LIPA.
There will be a Question and Answer session.
