LOCAL Small Business Grants Application

The LIA Foundation is continuing to build our Small Business Support Program in partnership with the Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce (LIAACC) and Long Island Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (LIHCC) by directly funding 25 businesses in Nassau County and 25 businesses in Suffolk County to connect them the financial resources to grow, expand, and contribute to the revitalization of downtowns.

The LOCAL Small Business Grants are made possible through a generous grant from Optimum Business, which helps keep small and mid-sized businesses connected, providing world class Internet, phone, TV, security, and managed services with a commitment to helping them succeed.

The application is due by May 1, 2024. After a review by a Selection Committee, 50 businesses will be selected to receive a $5,000 grant. We anticipate businesses will be notified in the summer of 2024.

Applicants who are not currently members of the Long Island Association will receive a six-month complimentary membership, and the LIA will be reaching out with more information after the application is submitted.

LIA, LIAACC, and LIHCC membership or status as an Optimum Business customer will not be considered in the evaluation of this application.
